Warrior Precast LLC is seeking a skilled Gas/Diesel Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel-powered heavy, light, and medium-duty vehicles. This role involves preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently.

• Perform preventive maintenance on a range of gas and diesel-powered vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Change tires, troubleshoot, and analyze electronics on vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and critical thinking to identify and fix mechanical issues, including engine, electrical, and transmission faults.
• Conduct repairs on mechanical and electrical issues as needed.
• Follow safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain accurate records for all maintenance activities, including routine reports and work orders.
• Complete assignments as directed, maintain predictable attendance, and report complex issues to supervisors with recommendations for solutions.
• Conduct purchases over $100 with appropriate approvals and documentation.
• Back a 40' trailer into tight areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and handle basic data entry.
• Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a calm and rational approach.
• Basic understanding of computer operations.
• Ability to qualify for ASE Brake certification is preferred.
• Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as a medium and heavy equipment service mechanic.
• Valid Driver's License (CDL).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Mechanic certificate.
