Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Line Technician to join our team and install and service gas fireplace inserts. The ideal candidate will share our values and have extensive experience in gas line installation, troubleshooting, and repair, as well as a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Install gas fireplace inserts in both residential and commercial properties.
- Connect and secure gas lines to fireplace inserts, ensuring proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair gas lines and related equipment as needed.
- Perform all work safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance on gas line maintenance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service transactions.
- Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project completion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in gas line installation or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas line installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet service targets.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working at heights, in outdoor environments, and in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
