Shift: M-F Days
Pay rate: $24/hr., DOE
Location: Boise, ID
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
- Document all Gas Service work orders, inventory, and associated gas component items following established procedures
- Operate, repair, perform maintenance, and qualification of ultra-pure and bulk gas systems
- Complete required customer-provided safety training within specified time
- Adhere to company and OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to certify for air purifying respirators (APR) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
- Detail-oriented and possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers and customers
- Able to multitask and prioritize, with good time management and organizational skills
- Good understanding of MS Office and able to learn customer-specific software
- Ability to learn area SCADA systems
- Create and form trusting relationships with customers and peers
- Possess basic electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic technical troubleshooting skills
- Familiar with the of use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process flow and instrumentation drawings, and electrical schematics
- Trouble shoot and determine the cause of equipment alarms under the supervision of more senior technician
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment under the supervision of a more senior technician
- Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Basic understanding of statistics and statistical process control (SPC)
- AA or 30 college credits or military equivalent
