Are you a Graduate Gemologist looking for an exciting growth opportunity?
Then you are in the right place!
Bailey’s Fine Jewelry is looking for a Gem Lab Assistant as part of our Merchandising Team. In this role, you would be work in our flagship Village District location AGS Gem Lab to assist our Loose Diamond Buyer. While working at our flagship location, you would serve all 5 of our locations including Greenville, Rocky Mount, and 3 in the triangle area.

Our flagship Raleigh location in the Village District has been newly renovated and is the largest jewelry store in NC. It is over 11,000 square feet and has over 35 team members. The most important part about all members of the Bailey’s team is their mission to provide the best customer service experience in the country.

What qualifications are we looking for?
- Graduate Gemologist license required
- Retail fine jewelry sales experience
- Outstanding communication and organization skills
- Very detail oriented
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Ability to work successfully with different personalities
- Love of diamonds equal to love of helping and serving others.
- Assisting with curating and selecting diamonds for stock
- Helping to develop the team through continual diamond training
- Calling, searching, and finding the perfect diamond for customers
- Assisting with stock balancing inventory between the stores
- Assisting with gold and estate buy processing
