General Summary: This role performs services as they relate to document conversion, document destruction, records management and storage and mailroom functions. This position follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence. This position requires familiarity with the terminology of the office unit.

Essential Job Functions:

1. May be assigned to specific production work
2. Makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of guides and manuals
   1. Document scanning.
   2. Transfers in/out files and physical interfiling.
   3. Perform basic computer work.
   4. May perform data entry to update reports and databases.
   5. May answer and record incoming phone requests.
   6. Process requests for files.
   7. Batch audit/electronic merging of files
   8. Loads and unloads boxes of files from trucks and shelving.
   9. Batch audit/electronic merging of files.
3. Must meet and maintain production and quality goals.
4. Abides by all company safety regulations.
5. Other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirement: Minimum two (2) years of work experience, once of which is directly related.

Other Requirement(s)

1. Be able to pass government background security clearance check (includes a credit check), as needed
2. Must be able to obtain and retain a Government public trust security level clearance.
3. Be a U.S. Citizen

7. Position requires ability to push/pull, transport objects using assistive equipment on a repetitive basis.
8. Must have mental ability to concentrate on fine detail such as daily report conciliation

Mental/Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, use repetitive hand/wrist motions, withstand heights, stand/sit for prolonged periods, and assist with unloading and receiving inventory, and ability to push/pull, transport objects using assistive equipment on a repetitive basis. Must have visual ability to see objects closely as in reading and use of computer monitor.
