SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, LLC a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified General Clerk III for Base Supply Services contract on Hurlburt Field, Florida. This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The General Clerk III selects from alternative methods and resolves problems by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy/completeness; verifying materials against documents, noting and reporting discrepancies. General working hours are day shift (0700-1600); however, personnel may be required to work other shifts or be assigned other duties in response to a wide array of operational situations as they arise.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work within a framework of established supply regulations, policies, procedures, or other governing supply management guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers concerning program/customer requirements.
- Use Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) or other Automated Individual Equipment Systems and Remote Processing Stations.
- Assist with conducting physical inventories of warehouse assets, supply points, Readiness Spares Packages, and WRM assets.
- Assist in managing Delinquent Document program, Delinquent Outbound Shipments program and Tracer Action Program (TAR).
- Accountable for meeting contract requirements, company policies and procedures and safety performance standards in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
- Responsible for prompt reporting of accidents/incidents, injuries, and hazardous situations and violations to the Project Manager or Material Coordinator Lead.
- Assists in creating/maintaining letters/listings of authorization for customers to receive classified property and Nuclear Weapons Material (NWRM). Conduct semi-annual reconciliation of personnel authorized to handle classified property and NWRM.
- Perform quality control checks of supply documents according to supply regulations and file/scan documents accordingly.
- Assist in conducting delinquent document meetings twice a week.
- Receive and process Shipment Suspense Images (SSC).
- Works software produced listings to accomplish operations.
- Assist with conducting inventories of warehoused property.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- Hold a Secret security clearance commensurate with property/computer systems accessed
- Proficient in interpreting data and supply management historical information.
- Use Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), Automated Imaging System and/or other Automated Individual Equipment Systems.
- Must possess valid state driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate both orally and writing with internal and external clients and co-workers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years U.S. Air Force Standard Base Supply related experience.
- Completion of USAF basic Materiel Management course.
- Working knowledge of U.S. Air Force Delinquent Document program, TRACER program and Delinquent Outbound Shipments program.
- Able to operate material handling equipment.
- High school graduate or equivalent

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, stretching, and bending for prolonged periods of time. At times lift and carry as much as 35 pounds. Visual acuity to review written documentation and ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels.

- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Working conditions are indoor climatically controlled office workplace, non-climatically controlled warehouses and outdoor environments to include periods of high heat. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
