- Perform all aspects of general carpentry, including framing, drywall, and finish work on commercial and light industrial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate and precise work.
- Install doors, windows, and other structural and finish carpentry elements as required.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, such as wood, metal studs, drywall, and other materials.
- Ensure all carpentry work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and construction professionals to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to address any issues or changes in project scope.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Participate in company safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or light industrial carpentry.
- Proficiency in framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Experience in tenant finish-out projects.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred.
