Description:  General laborers- Alaska mines

Location:      Anchorage, AK

Summary:

AKHIRE is currently recruiting a crew of General Laborers!

• We are looking for hard workers, preferably with some mine experience.
  
• We work on immovable machinery like crushers and conveyors at mine sites.
  
• Some work will include general construction of buildings and machinery
• We go out on contracts that we receive within the state of Alaska. 
  
• These jobs come with some travel, food and lodging while you are on site at the mine.
  
• Most jobs will require overtime work, which will add to your average hourly pay.
  
• Dependent upon initial "working interview," some employees may be added as long-term placements.

• One year of General construction labor experience (OR); two years of welding and fabrication experience required to be considered for the position.
  
• MSHA certification is required of all workers, skill set certification (may vary from job to job), related to the job you are hired to perform.
  
• We are ideally looking for workers that already have MSHA training and certification. If you had an MSHA certification and it has expired you will need to take the refresher course online before starting the job (we will pay for the refresher course).

Requirements: MSHA certification is required of all workers, skill set certification (may vary from job to job) related to the job you are hired to perform. You must pass a drug test and full background check before we can place you at the mines. We are ideally looking for workers that already have MSHA training and certification, if you had an MSHA certification and it has expired you will need to take the refresher course online before starting the job (we will pay for the refresher course). We are looking for Alaska residents. We will also consider those with intent to permanently move to Alaska.
