General Labor / Material Handler - Spherion

Spherion is currently hiring for General Laborers and Material Handlers (Stand Up Forklift Experience Required!) for our customer located in Troy, OH! Here are some details:

Shifts:
1st: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:00pm - $19/hr
2nd: Mon-Fri, 2:00pm-10:00pm - $19.50/hr
3rd: Mon-Fri, 10p-6a - $19.75/hr

Our customer manufactures pressure sensitive materials used in everyday products such as label printing, graphic design, packaging, displays, medical device assembly and many more!

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR OVERTIME BEFORE/AFTER SHIFT.

Responsibilities:
- To perform a variety of activities as a Packager of a manufactured paper
- Assist the other operations in helping to package the finished product to get it prepared for shipping
- Load and unload material while assisting operator
- Monitor deviations in materials and running conditions; make corrections with operator's assistance and report deviations to operator
- Monitor all phases of packaging
- Prepare materials for shipping
- Perform other duties as assigned

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout shift
- Ability to work overtime if needed
- Ability to be flexible in helping where it is needed on the production floor

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs
- Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending and squatting
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Basic computer proficiencies
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
