About the Job
It is the responsibility of the general ledger accountant to reconcile various balance sheet accounts. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities:- Reconciling bank statements to General Ledger.
- Recording all wire transfers.
- Handling all daily banking activity.
- Assisting in recording month end close journal entries.
- Reconciling fix assets accounts (CIP)
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Ability to operate 10 key calculator, computer, telephone, binding machine and photocopy machine.
- Ability to lift bound computer reports weighing up to 20 lbs.
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
- 2 years college or solid 2 to 3 years working experience in Accounting Department.
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
