General Ledger Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

What You'll Do:
As a General Ledger Accountant, you'll be a key player in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and overseeing the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Reconciling the general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries
• Analyzing financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
• Assisting with audits, grant reporting, and compliance requirements specific to nonprofits
• Collaborating with the finance team to streamline processes and support financial transparency

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, including progressive month-end close responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus, but not required
