What You'll Do:
As a General Ledger Accountant, you'll be a key player in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and overseeing the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Reconciling the general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries
- Analyzing financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
- Assisting with audits, grant reporting, and compliance requirements specific to nonprofits
- Collaborating with the finance team to streamline processes and support financial transparency
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, including progressive month-end close responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus, but not required
