General Liability Defense Associate Attorney

Our client is a highly respected law firm with a robust civil litigation practice, known for delivering exceptional legal services to its clients. The firm is currently seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join their Southern or Northern California/Bay Area team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented attorney to further their career in a collaborative and forward-thinking legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of general liability defense matters, including premises liability, personal injury, auto/trucking accidents, habitability, and construction defect cases.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy and planning.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of post-Bar experience in the defense of general liability matters.
• Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing
• Residency in or willingness to relocate to either Southern California or Northern California/Bay Area.
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
