Are you a Food Service Leader passionate about great people and food?
As a General Manager at our client, Net Jets, you’ll be able to build on your passion for hospitality with a dynamic team and incredible guests at Net Jet’s Café in Columbus, OH. The General Manager of Food will lead a dining team of 12, including an Executive Chef and Sous Chef. This team is responsible for the main café and a small satellite location offering coffee service. The primary schedule will be Monday through Friday, but some flexibility is needed to accommodate occasional weekends and catering events.
What you’ll do:
- Lead daily food operations, including café dining and catering.
- Work with our onsite client to achieve company and client financial targets and goals, including oversight of cash handling, catering management software, accounts payable, billing, and the POS system;
- develop and maintain high level client and customer relationships.
- motivate, coach, mentor, and develop frontline (hourly)and management staff; and
- ensure that Sodexo standards are met, including compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
What we are looking for from you:
- experience with startups and food service renovations;
- prior experience working for a contract management company
- exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and client requests as needed and/or
- demonstrate a working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management.
