About the Job
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while overseeing operational functions and driving sales and memberships. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership in daily sales and client relations at the spa. This position must have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence in addition to an extensive knowledge of each modality offered in the spa. As the leader for the sales function, the General Manager must execute the ability to generate leads and plan marketing strategies to increase sales, as well as, engage in client relations. This General Manager must pose a high caliber approach to organization and be a self motivator that is hungry to meet and beat goals. This is a salary with bonus structure based on performance position. It is NOT a typical 9-5 job. The General Manager must be flexible and adaptable to shift hours as needed to make sure the spa runs smoothly and all leads and clients are communicated with quickly. The General Manager will work in Client Specialist position 20 – 30 hours per week as guided by ownership and/or corporate team while also performing his/her other management duties.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Lead the Client Specialist Team and Nurses in daily duties.
• Sales and Goal Motivated
• Keep all work areas clean, safe, sanitary, and orderly at all times.
• Follow and enforce all Spa rules and systems.
• Always enforce confidentiality of all clients and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist Client Specialist Team and Nurses as needed.
• Manage proper non-medical (retail) inventory levels and controls.
• Create and manage team members’ schedules to meet Spa needs while
operating under budgetary standards.
• Create and manage Budgets and Goals for Spa.
• Search out, book, and manage outreach events.
• Always operate the Spa as guided by ownership and/or corporate team while maintaining a positive and rewarding relationship with the Team and the local community.
• Manage the preventative maintenance program on all equipment and quick repair when needed according to guidelines.
• Train all Team members in non-medical duties and oversee and follow compliance with employment laws, both local and federal, including all onboarding paperwork, hiring, firing, and other general work duties and procedures.
• Make sure all Team members are properly trained in their positions.
• Conduct weekly meetings in order to communicate effectively and timely with
the Team.
• Communicate timely and as scheduled with ownership and/or corporate team.
• General Manager will work in Client Specialist position 20 – 30 hours per week as guided by ownership and/or corporate team while also performing his/her other management duties.
• General Manager will maintain a flexible rotational schedule that meets Spa
needs.
Skills & Qualifications
• Other related functions as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
• CPR/AED certified
• Management of operations, budgets, and sales.
• Experience and a high comfort level with using a computer utilizing scheduling
and lead generation software, email, word, and excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse community and provide services
from a non-judgmental perspective.
