Position Overview: As the General Manager, you will spearhead strategic planning and business development initiatives, driving growth and ensuring the company's competitiveness by identifying new market opportunities and nurturing key relationships. Your role will extend to overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing efficiency, and implementing policies to enhance productivity and quality. Additionally, you'll be responsible for financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures to maximize profitability. Leading a diverse team, you'll foster a positive work culture, provide guidance for professional growth, and uphold high standards of customer service and quality assurance to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve company objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and trends to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services and projects.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and quality.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing regular reports to the executive team.
- Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement strategies to enhance employee productivity.
- Customer Service and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure exceptional customer service delivery, maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager preferably in the fire/water restoration industry or home services.
- Strong business acumen and experience in strategic planning and execution
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles and the ability to analyze financial data.
- Proficient in project management and resource allocation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base pay: $170,000-$200,000/ year. or up to 2% of total annual revenue.
- Quarterly performance bonus
- Employee referral commission:
- 3% of total mitigation and content sales from documented relationships initiated and maintained by the employee.
- 1% of total reconstruction/repair sales from documented relationships initiated and maintained by the employee.
- Company vehicle and gas card - for the selected position
- Health, vision, and dental insurance
- 401K, company match up to 6%
- Paid Time Off Eligible after 90 days.
- 5 days vacation and 3 sick days in the first 2 years.
- After 2 years, increase to 10 vacation days.
