We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned General Manager – Club Lounge to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team! Focusing on our exclusive private club offerings. This high-volume environment requires a candidate with passion for personalized guest experience and luxury service.
Reporting to the Director of Club Operations, this role will be responsible for leading various operations of the Club lounge including food and beverage operations, entertainment, programming and activations, ensuring exceptional five-star service. This position will also oversee the Club Pool. This individual will take the lead in managing the opening of the Club lounge. In doing so, this individual will lead the efforts in recruiting, menu creation, creation of service standards and style, and implementation of training, processes, and standards for a successful opening. This role will require assisting other F&B Outlets as needed.
Responsibilities:- Plan, develop and execute a wide range of programming and activations for Club members in the Lounge and various other spaces.
- Properly manages club activities to ensure and maintain the quality of products and services provided by the Club Lounge and Pool.
- Forms relationships and welcomes all current,new and prospective Members to the Club spaces.
- Collaborates with the marketing and membership team to promote the Club’s services and facilities to potential and current members. Collaborate internally on various marketing materials to promote Club activations and events.
- Ensure the highest standards for food, beverage, entertainment and other club services.
- Oversee the development of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.
- Establish and monitor compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
- Develop and implementmember focused strategies for the restaurant and bar to deliver satisfaction.
- Hire and develop of talent for our team.
- Collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team to designmenus and beverage lists.
- Manage department costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory control and cost control measures, observing and making recommendations for improvement of facilities and equipment as required.
- Highly visible in the operation, providing recognition, promoting good public relations and taking care of special requests with dedication to creating an attentive and distinctive experience for our guests.
- Have a passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring exceptional service and attention to our members.

Previous pre-opening experience is essential.
- A solid knowledge of food & beverage, strong wine and liquor knowledge, creative, ambitious, and strong business acumen, work ethic and people-management skills.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong, innovative mindset.
- The ability to react and adjust to changing business environments and lead the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
- Applicants are required to have at least 2 to 3 years’ experience.
- Have a wealth of restaurant and/or bar leadership experience in private Clubs, luxury hotels and/or stand-alone restaurants, restaurant groups.
- Have a desire to focus on the development of our team, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, the ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills.
- Be a team player and have a highly creative flair; bringing your personal touch and energy to our Club experiences.
- Must possessvalid Food Handler’s card.
- Must possess valid TIPs certification.
- Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Some travel is required for training, conferences, and special events.
- Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.
