Compensation 

$54k salary plus quarterly bonus, up to $60k/year.

Benefits include:

2 weeks paid vacation

up to 40 hours sick pay

50% off food and drink, and 20% off everything else. 

Job Summary

This job contributes to Rock N Rolls’ success by maintaining quality, cost, and production standards of the Rock N Rolls Girard location and food truck. Responsible for all restaurant functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation and cleanliness, training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion, cost control, and sanitation and cleanliness.

Qualifications

·       Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef

·       Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

·       Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients

·       Servsafe certification

·       Outstanding communication and leadership skills

·       Excellent organizational skills

·       Conflict management skills

·       Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment, while fostering a positive work environment

·       Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends

·       Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management a plus

About Rock N Rolls

Rock N Rolls is the pioneer of sweet & savory egg rolls with an American twist. Owner Shamaya Oberlton (Bella) began this journey in 2016, initially to raise money for her mother’s Chemo-therapy treatments for pancreatic cancer. During her fundraising efforts, Bella and her mother noted how popular their seafood eggroll was—an old family recipe. Bella began to blend other types of American cuisines into the traditional Asian style egg roll, and Rock N Rolls was born. Although Bella's mother did not survive to see the opening of the first Rock N Rolls food truck, Bella is committed to making the world a better place, advocating for cancer patients, and homeless women and children.
