Mechanical Service General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to elevate our clients commercial HVAC/Refrigeration operations and lead their team to success. They are a commercial design build HVAC service company based in Houston, TX area for over 55 years.

As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's vision, ensuring financial performance, and cultivating management skills and expertise within our team. You will oversee all departmental operations, ensuring compliance with company policies while delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to drive efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth.
• Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve company goals.
• Lead Design Build & Planned Maintenance sales and marketing efforts to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
• Deliver complete Design Build solutions for commercial HVAC or Refrigeration projects.
• Manage and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to drive profitability and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration trade.
• At least 5 years in a commercial general manager or operations manager leadership role.
• Senior Commercial Mechanical Project Managers looking to move into the office in a GM role are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience in commercial or industrial HVAC and/or Refrigeration Design Build projects.
• Strong track record of driving business growth, managing P&L, and achieving financial targets.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems, installation, maintenance, service, technologies, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The pay range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 base salary and includes health, dental, and vision benefits, 401k matching plan with a 4& match, PTO, vehicle allowance, 7 paid federal holidays, HSA account, life insurance, and short and long term disability.
