A Week in Your Taziki’s Life:
Every day at Taziki’s is unique and exciting! Your week begins each Monday with a thorough review of last week’s P&L, strategizing the best ways to schedule, coach, and direct your team to meet sales & cost goals.
Mornings are spent supporting your prep crew to ready the store for lunch service, ensuring catering orders are prepared with meticulous attention to food safety and recipe perfection. Before opening the doors, gather your team for pre-shift meeting and update them on the latest Taziki’s news, such as recipe changes, promos or new features in our Taz Rewards program. Engage with your community, connecting with guests by name and assisting with orders, forging lasting relationships. In the afternoons, manage shift changes while handling administrative tasks like reviewing invoices, scheduling staff, and ordering supplies. You might interview job applicants, track employee training progress, or monitor labor hours. As a true leader, set aside time each day to check in with your team members, encouraging their growth and learning.
During evening shifts, support your team through busy ordering hours for dinner. As the shift winds down, use your evening counts and catering orders for the following day to create prep sheets for your AM team, setting them up for success. As the week concludes, collaborate with your management team, meticulously checking inventory and payroll details to review performance towards goals.
Your Activities:
- Successfully complete 400 hours of our Certified Management Training.
- Be a Taziki’s Ambassador, embodying our service, menu, story, and culture with passion.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and uphold a positive company image at all times.
- Describe our food with enthusiasm, educating guests on our menu, ingredients, and allergy/dietary alerts for both restaurant and catering orders.
- Embody the "cafe management" work style, actively participating in store positions alongside administrative responsibilities.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train A-players for all roles.
- Develop hourly employees, shift leaders, and AGMs, fostering an environment of motivation, training, and evaluations.
- Schedule hourly employees based on weekly forecasted sales and the Taziki’s Ideal labor model, training AGMs to do the same.
- Accurately document all employee-related paperwork.
- Prioritize tasks, set goals, and schedule your time efficiently, balancing administrative leadership with hands-on shift involvement.
- Supervise and mentor crew members on each shift, seizing every opportunity for training and growth.
- Manage store quality, meeting Taziki’s standards for food procedure, service, and cleanliness.
- Effectively manage operational and administrative duties, understanding how accurate and timely completion drives store success.
- Monitor cash receipts, controls, and daily deposits to ensure financial accuracy.
- Proactively manage building upkeep, general maintenance, equipment maintenance, and maintenance tickets.
- Maintain a positive, clean, safe atmosphere for both guests and coworkers, in compliance with Health Department regulations.
- Lead the team in compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude and respect for coworkers, establishment, and the Taziki’s brand.

Your Talents:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Minimum of 3-5 years upper management experience
- No more than 2 jobs in the previous 5 years
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess/obtain a Manager ServSafe Certification
- Sufficient experience and knowledge of Profit and Loss statements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy
