Liberte Chic Lounge - General Manager
Job Overview:
The Liberte Chic Lounge General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant and bar, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory, and driving revenue growth. The role involves strategic planning, financial management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Monitor and adjust staff schedules to meet business needs.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Address and resolve staff conflicts or issues.
- Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor and control expenses, including labor and inventory costs.
- Implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing complaints and resolving issues.
- Implement and maintain service standards and practices.
- Develop and execute promotional events and marketing strategies.
- Inventory and Purchasing:
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to PA and Philadelphia health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for staff and customers.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Manage social media accounts and online presence.
- Coordinate with local businesses and community groups for promotions and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a restaurant or bar manager, preferably in a similar setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In trends of latest F&B trends and concepts
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced and dynamic setting with occasional evening and weekend hours.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods and handling food and beverages.
- The role is primarily focused on the evening shift.
- Requires availability to work on Fridays and Saturdays.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining US work authorization.
