The General Manager will report to their Area Manager
Job Overview:
Oversees all aspects of operation at the store level. Manages both costs of labor and food while providing superior customer service and product.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversees and manages all staff, delegating tasks and positions.
- Creates and manages the weekly employee schedule.
- Confirms that all corporate compliance standards are followed at all times.
- Verifies that all orders are prepared with 100% accuracy.
- Prepares all products and ensures proper levels of preparation are maintained.
- Hires and trains any necessary staff members.
- Handles necessary daily paperwork.
- Counts all inventory weekly and prepares weekly reports.
- Handles and resolves any customer issues and complaints.
- Handles any emergency situations (weather, robbery, injuries, etc.).
- Audits the store regularly to “hospital clean” standards.
Qualifications:
- Able to work up to 55 hours a week+ (when needed).
- Positive enthusiastic attitude; exceptional communication skills.
- High school degree or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Capable of basic math skills.
- Able to use Microsoft excel and word.
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Food safety certified manager preferred. (Can set up with JJ's! At no cost to you!)
