PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
As a General Manager at Pura Vida Miami, your role encompasses a broad spectrum of duties pivotal to the operational success of our brand. The responsibilities outlined in this offer letter serve as a guideline and are inclusive, but not exhaustive:
Motivate and direct team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.
Oversee inventory management, labor allocation, and utilizes financial analysis to optimize restaurant performance.
Handles daily ordering and invoicing at the store level.
Provide training and mentorship for new employees and managers across all restaurant stations, leveraging team collaboration.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations.
Uphold and reinforces all Pura Vida procedures and policies at the store level.
Efficiently organizes, schedules, and supervises team member shifts.
Maintain a strong floor presence to oversee and ensure exceptional customer service.
Direct staff while on the floor to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
Monitor and manage the expo station to guarantee timely and accurate food delivery to customers.
Lead by example in providing exemplary customer service and addressing customer concerns effectively.
Support recruitment, selection, hiring, and talent retention initiatives at the store.
Recruits and develops talented employees, with an eye toward building organizational capacity and bench strength.
Creates an environment that encourages innovation and development.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years of management experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
College education is preferred, but not required.
Hard-working, enthusiastic leader with strong communication, organizational & problem-solving skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Passionate about health and wellness is a bonus.
Must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
Advanced typing/basic knowledge of Excel and POS systems.
