Title of Position: General Manager

Job Description: As the General Manager you would be among our first employees and play a crucial role as a full-time partner in our efforts to open the establishment at the earliest. Our strategic plan requires us to bring onboard a General Manager 2 to 2.5 months prior to the opening date. This will allow you sufficient time to learn about our business, assist with pre-opening activities, and help foster a collaborative culture. For the opening process, The General Manager will own several elements of the pre-opening phase, with support from ownership and the General Manager. Once the concept is open the General Manager will be expected to function as an extension of the ownership team and to carry out the mission and strategic vision that is established by ownership. The General Manager will be in command but, is expected that this will be a collaborative relationship with ownership. The General Manager will be responsible for, controlling money, planning and budgeting, culture and staffing, assisting chef with food menu creation, schedule staff hours and assign duties, conduct team training and meetings, ensure all restaurant policies are upheld, maintain proper upkeep of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Three plus years of general management experience in a high-volume atmosphere is a must for the General Manager
• A requirement for the General Manager is a to be 100% comfortable constantly being around dogs
• A huge plus to the General Manager if they have previous experience in booking, planning, and coordinating events
• A General Manager with experience in opening new units is a major plus
