Job Description: Hotel General Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our esteemed hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for operational excellence, and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining our hotel's prestigious reputation and driving its financial success.
Salary: $85K - $115K + 30% Bonus Potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure the seamless operation of all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to deliver a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
- Manage and Develop Staff: Foster a positive work environment by leading, coaching, and mentoring a diverse team of hospitality professionals. Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
- Drive Guest Satisfaction: Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and address feedback promptly. Ensure that guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Financial Performance: Develop and execute financial strategies to maximize revenue, control costs, and achieve budgetary goals. Prepare and analyze financial reports to guide decision-making. Work hand in hand with the DOS to determine sales strategies that will increase ADR, Drive Revenues, Increase Market Share & RevPAR.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Uphold the hotel's brand standards and quality assurance requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement long-term strategies and initiatives for growth and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage teams and interact with guests.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in hotel management, with a proven track record of success in Sales and Marketing.
