About the Job
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our quoting software business unit’s operations and strategy, including P&L ownership. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, profitability, and market leadership. You will lead a dynamic team, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure operational excellence to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company's strategic plan in alignment with the overall vision and goals.
- Drive growth initiatives, exploring new markets, and expanding product offerings.
- Foster innovation within the company to maintain competitiveness and market leadership.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and scalability.
- Manage financial performance and budgetary planning to achieve financial goals.
Customer Focus:
- Monitor customer feedback and market trends to continuously improve product offerings and customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations within the organization.
Sales and Marketing Strategy:
- Develop effective strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure alignment between product development, marketing initiatives, and sales efforts.
Skills/Education/Experience:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role within a SaaS or technology company, preferably in a software product management or operations capacity.
- Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Health/Benefits insurance experience is a plus.
