Job Overview
Job responsibilities for restaurant General Managers consist of hiring and training new employees, supervising kitchen operations, and scheduling kitchen staff members.
Duties:
- Instructing workers
- Reviewing menu items
- Taking inventory
- Placing food orders
- Scheduling maintenance.
- Daily quality assurance inspections.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry or training at a vocational school or college
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong Leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.
- A working knowledge of computers and the ability to work under pressure.
- To read and write fluently to take instructions in both verbal and written forms
- Must provide documentation of legal U. S. residency
- Must have a Food Handlers Card
- Must have Serv-Safe Certifications
