General Practice Veterinarian - MBC Talent Connections

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practice Veterinarian to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a General Practice Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of medical services to our patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and minor surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals and accurately diagnose and treat any medical conditions

- Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of illnesses and injuries

- Administer vaccinations and perform routine procedures such as spaying and neutering

- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventative health measures

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients

- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for our patients

- Stay current on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and techniques

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university

- Valid and current state veterinary license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian

- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays
