Established Private Practice is seeking a Board Eligible | Board Certified General Surgeon with a desire to do general acute care surgery, occasional acute care , and trauma  call. The Surgical Group of the Woodlands is honored to provide exclusive, 24/7 trauma coverage at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. This location is a busy ACS-Verified Level II Trauma Center with over 2,000 trauma admissions annually, and a major catchment hospital for the area of north Houston. 

The practice has been serving the North Houston area with a strong reputation and excellent referral base.

Job Description:

• BC/BE
• Active Texas Medical License
• Procedures: General acute care surgery 
• Call: Acute care general surgery x6 nights per month ; x4 nights of trauma per month
• Schedule: 2 + 1 model 
• Single facility location
• NP Support on site
• Scribe service available
• EMR: ECW (Epic in 2024)
• Level II Trauma Center
