Pay: Starting Pay: $33.51 per hour Pay Range: $29.64 - $37.37 per hour Purpose: This role will serve as the primary point of contact for daily execution of the Generational Wealth First Time Homebuyer grant
Chief duties include communicating internally and externally including customer contact and establishing relationships with external industry and community partners
Pipeline management, reporting and tracking particularly on monthly enrollments and monitoring customer eligibility and readiness
Moreover, the candidate will work cross-functionally with the Generational Wealth Team and partners and internally with mortgage lending, product management, community impact, treasury and mortgage servicing to make certain programs are functioning as intended
Accountabilities: Lead daily activities to ensure that Generational Wealth homebuyer grant programs are operating as intended + Administer program requirements for Generational Wealth grants
+ Track and report grant and customer eligibility and readiness + Manage enrollments, issuing commitment letters, and closings + Perform pre-and-post closing needs + Write and update procedures needed to support grant programs + Track information and metrics as determined by program (referrals, performance, grant rounds, limits) + Serve as administrative contact for Generational Wealth grant customers + Submit compliant packages to the FHLB to solidify program participation Driving operational execution + Champion operational efficiencies internally and with partners + Streamline relevant processes in addition to driving frictionless business flows Customer Experience + Work to deliver superior service and a delightful experience to all external and internal customers + Work with the Generational Wealth Team and partners to uncover tactics to grow share of first time homebuyer market for our target audience
Relationship management + Build powerful and compelling relationships with partners and centers of influence + Establish trust, confidence and partnerships with internal colleagues Qualifications + Associate degree or 2 years of directly related experience required + Residential mortgage, real estate, homeownership programs, financial services or related experience required + Basic understanding of residential mortgage lending and affordable housing + Experience working with racially and culturally diverse populations + Ability to work well individually and as a member of a successful team + Strong communication skills + Demonstrates alignment with ESL’s Core Values, mission, vision, and purpose to help our community thrive and prosper Preferred Qualifications + Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Economics, Management or Statistics/Math + Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending with focus on first-time homebuyers and/or homeownership counseling and homebuyer education + Customer service experience + Familiarity with Greater Rochester neighborhoods and communities We’re committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion
