Geotechnical Engineer

PRI is a tenured Executive Recruiting firm with experience in placing construction/ materials testing professionals throughout the U.S.  Currently we are looking for 2 full-time Senior Geotechnical Engineers. Location can be in UT, AZ, ID, TX, or CO. Company will assist with relocation. Positions are a result of company growth and expansion. • Up to $150K+ base salary depending upon experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration programs effectively.
• Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects.
• Analyze geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculations, and prepare technical reports for review by senior geotechnical engineers. Develop proposals and determine cost and schedule for investigations.
• Provide direction to technical team in field inspection activities. Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned projects on-time. Evaluate team performance and determine training needs to meet performance objectives.
• Perform basic office administration tasks when needed.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Four to ten years of related work experience.
• Proficient in soil mechanics.
• Able to creatively apply engineering principals to solve new problems.
• Valid professional license (P.E.).
