Dennett Rehab Center is a 99 bed skilled nursing facility located in Oakland, Maryland. Our skilled nursing facility has been serving the Maryland community for over 46 years. We’re proud to be a community tradition of outstanding service and compassionate care. We offer 24/7 skilled nursing care, hospice, respite care and many more services to seniors in the tristate area. We are seeking both full and part-time Geriatric Nursing Assistants to work 8 hour shifts and become part of our growing team. 

Both full and part time employees are eligible for benefits after a probationary period with minimum hour requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold a current Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification in Maryland.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must have the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives.
• Be sensitive to residents' families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires.
• Carry out assignments for resident care including (but not limited to):
• bathing
• dressing
• grooming
• shaving
• feeding
• restorative nursing procedures
• retraining 
• Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy.
• Answer call lights promptly.
