As an Electronics Technician in the Engineering department, you will focus on design and development of high efficiency power supplies and LED driver designs. The applicant will be responsible for concept, design, validation, and production execution.
This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work with other members of this team to maintain and/or continuously improve the overall value of product designs.

Job Description:
As an Electronics Technician in the Engineering department, you will focus on design and development of high efficiency power supplies and LED driver designs. The applicant will be responsible for concept, design, validation, and production execution.
This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work with other members of this team to maintain and/or continuously improve the overall value of product designs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building, assembling, testing and troubleshooting of custom electronics.
- Should be comfortable soldering of through hole and surface mount components.
- Assemble and solder surface mount and through-hole components.
- Verify bill of materials and pull parts to match before building.
- Experience with troubleshooting down to the component level.
- Ability to read schematics
- Analyze a new design or a product failure, provide analysis and recommendations for improvements or changes
Education & Experience:
- 2 years of education and 3 -5 years experience, preferred with emphasis on Electrical/Electronics
- Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and must work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to communicate, discuss and/or review repair problems with Engineering
- Knowledge of and basic skill with electrical tools.
- Working knowledge and skill in operating a variety of equipment (Oscilloscope, Multi & Power meters, Power supplies and Multi-channel thermocouples data loggers).
- Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
