Gift Production Assembly-2nd Shift - 1-800-Flowers Family of Brands

Position Summary:





The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble gift boxes containing cookies according to specified standards and requirements.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Build gifts according to specifications and ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.
* Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.
* Physically stack and unstack pallets
* Support the shipping line with a constant flow of product or removal
* Read SKU numbers and dates to ensure correct items in gift
* Perform other duties and works in other departments as assigned
* Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines




* Able to perform repetitive tasks (walking, bending, twisting and use of hands, wrists and arms)
* Able to lift, up to 30lbs continuously. Occasionally extending product up to overhead positions
* Able to work in varying degrees of temperatures (-10° to 40°)
* Honest and respectful communication
