Job Description

This is a full time opportunity on first shift in the client's glass making area. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to precisely weigh and measure fine powders while maintaining contamination and  personal safety standards, work safely with molten glass, operate glass making stations, and optical Pyrometers, use mechanical measuring equipment including: micrometers, calipers, and laser micrometers. Additionally you will demonstrate proficiency in reading, composing and understanding written specifications and criteria ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Preferred candidate will have experience operating draw towers, extruders and size reduction towers, be organized to accurately maintain production records and schedules as well as track materials through common PC programs. 
Previous manufacturing experience is required, preferably in an ISO environment. Prior experience in glass making very strongly preferred as well as a stable verifiable work history. High school diploma or GED preferred.
