About the Job
As the Global Compensation & Total Rewards Analyst you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of TKWW's compensation structure. You will oversee the organization's compensation data impacting multiple stakeholders, including FP&A, Recruiting, and HR Business Partners. You will ensure market-based data is readily available and incorporated into existing and future processes including but not limited to recruiting, internal mobility, promotion and merit efforts. As an expert analyst, you will evaluate both internal and external data trends with a focus on pay equity. You will work with both US and international data. This position will report to the Director, Global Total Rewards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and maintains readily accessible and organized compensation and pay scale information for all roles within the organization, including but not limited to base salary, bonus, and equity.
- Analyzes and incorporates third-party market data into existing and future practices.
- Plays a key role in the onboarding and promotion processes by ensuring appropriate employment classification, job level and exemption status are properly classified in partnership with the Compliance Manager and by making market data available pre-offer letter when salary decisions are being made.
- Partner with Senior Data Analyst to constantly monitor, analyze and report on internal pay equity trends and cost analysis by creating regular dashboards and reporting for stakeholders.
- Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position, in alignment with the organization's compensation philosophy.
- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
- Evaluates and implements job analysis instruments and materials.
- Researches employee benefits in similar industries; based on findings, recommends changes or updates to the company's existing benefits or policies.
- Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations regarding compensation policies and structure.
- Maintains job descriptions inventory for each position in the organization in partnership with the Compliance Manager.
- Regularly audits accuracy of job descriptions; especially for new roles in the organization.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
SUCCESSFUL COMPENSATION ANALYST CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience working Compensation/Total Rewards or a related field
- Expert level Excel skills required
- Experience with Google Suite, specifically Google Sheets
- A degree or certification in Human Resources or related field is preferred
- Possess knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Possess knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
- Prior experience working in HRIS/HCM systems with practical experience with HR database administration including payroll systems
- Prior experience analyzing Radford, Mercer, WTW or other third party compensation data
- Prior experience administering an organization's promotion/merit process either via spreadsheets or a system such as PayScale.
- Experience in creating, designing, and maintaining effective dashboards and other data delivery methods to stakeholders
- Data accuracy and attention to detail is a nonnegotiable
