Position Overview:
Forming part of the Global ERP team and reporting to the Global ERP Director, you will be the global Epicor DataMigration lead and responsible for all data migrations globally to Epicor ERP. The role requires a hands-on problem-solving Epicor expert, along with supporting the current environments you will work with the Epicor team on new implementations and upgrades in our facilities around the globe. This will be a fully remote position with regular domestic and international travel.
Position Requirements:
- Supporting new Epicor implementations and upgrades
- Data Migration
- Responsible and accountable for data migration from legacy systems to Epicor.
- Work with the business stakeholders to plan, migrate and create the data required for the implementation to Epicor.
- Maintain data integrity and reconcile data from multiple sources and systems
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Participate where appropriate in new application development by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and format.
- Business Process ImprovementsContinuous Improvement
- Identify processes that are outdated and inefficient, create / change processes that will lead to measurable gains in data quality and processing time.
- Establish detailed documentation for reporting, dashboards and technical solutions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Help desk tickets
Travel:
- Global Travel will be required for project milestones.
Challenges:
- Working with legacy system to retrieve data, data may not be formatted, cleansed or exist.
- Working with stakeholders who have no experience or knowledge of Epicor and the data requirements.
- Working multiple projects in parallel
Knowledge & Skills:
- Expert with data migration from legacy systems to Epicor
- Solid understanding of data structures, relationships, and concepts of an ERP system
- SQL Reporting, SQL Views and queries
- Epicor implementation Experience
- Understanding of the Quote/Cash process flow (ideally from a manufacturing background)
- DMT, BAQs, Dashboards
- Epicor DevelopmentCustomization Experience
- Power BI/ Power Automate Experience
