Job DescriptionGlobal Finance Modernization (GF Mod) is a multi-year transformation to enable Global Finance to achieve its vision of being a strategic advisor to the business where Finance is shaping and leading critical strategic initiatives across the enterprise, driving growth and enterprise value. This program focuses on all aspects of Finance, including transformation across our people, processes, operating model, and technology. GF Mod will improve the employee experience and allow Finance to deliver a more seamless and consistent experience to its customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead process activities, including requirements gathering for enhancements, process mapping, and documentation for FCCS and Workiva.
- Support work efforts and decision-making to refine Close & Consolidation processes in alignment with McDonald’s transformation objectives.
- Ensure adherence to global process standards and collaborate with other process leads to drive integrated solutions and foster system adoption, data governance and policy compliance
- Partner with the IT, GBS and Corporate Reporting teams to identify opportunities to drive stabilization and increase efficiencies
- Work closely with the Functional Solutions team to proactively identify dependencies between RTR processes and technology requirements and deployment needs
- Encourage change management and business process review for users and markets
- Partner with relevant collaborators to harmonize policies and initiatives related to RTR processes.
- Support the development and delivery of RTR-related training content and readiness
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a related field
- 5 + years of experience in a finance or accounting role leading process improvement
- Proven expertise in leading RTR processes specifically close and consolidation for large multi-currency entity in FCCS Oracle application
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence partners at all levels of the organization.
- Shown experience in leading RTR process reengineering or enhancement/alignment initiatives, with a track record of driving successful outcomes.
- Strong process improvement approach and commitment to continuous learning, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to find opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Proficiency in partner management, engagement, and facilitation, with the capability to navigate and resolve conflicts while maintaining alignm
