Wells Fargo is seeking a Global Head of Payments & Coverage Platform (Technology Director) in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology, within the Platform Strategy & Transformation team. This senior leader will be responsible for the management of all aspects of support and resiliency for a large and diverse set of IT services provided to our business and clients. A successful candidate will also be responsible for the alignment of these areas with the ongoing technology modernization program while influencing the program to deliver to the unique needs of the CCIBT businesses. This role is critical for achieving our reliability goals and transforming our culture, skillsets and practices towards reliability engineering and will work closely with the Platform Strategy & Transformation team to influence and contribute to the broader strategic direction. It will require a seasoned and compelling technology leader, with the proven ability to drive cultural as well as technical change into a large organization.
In this role, you will:
+ Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
+ Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
+ Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
+ Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
+ Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
+ Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
+ Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
+ Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
+ Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
+ Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
+ Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
+ Lead team to achieve objectives
+ Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
+ Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
+ Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
+ 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with Global payments systems such as; EPE, Wires, ACH, SWIFT, Commercial Card and Treasury Management
+ 4+ years of experience managing a distributed team of 120 Platform staff, supporting clients and business globally
+ Experience with Customer Care Technology, including Cornerstone, CAO applications, Customer Information & Relationship Management Systems
+ Experience in technology production management or similar roles in top tier financial services institutions
+ Leadership experience in a large enterprise sized organization
+ In-depth knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and industry best practices such as ITIL, DevSecOps and SRE
+ In-depth knowledge of payments processing, payments networks and the associated technology applications and global regulations
+ In-depth knowledge of client coverage concepts and applications
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel 10% of the time
+ Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule
+ This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
