Global IT Endpoint Engineer Manager - The Boston Consulting Group
Boston, MA
About the Job
As an IT Engineer on the Windows Hardware and Device Management (WHDM) squad, you will join an Agile team of IT Architects, Engineers, and Analysts who are focused on setting the Windows laptop hardware standards and managing the platforms required to manage them. In this role, you will primarily be focused on BCG's digital experience monitoring software, Aternity.
- Enhance the capabilities and value of Aternity at BCG by increasing its data collection, such as device attributes and settings, application activities, and health events. Work with others to further enhance the value of Aternity inside and outside of WHDM.
- Implement and configure new and existing features of Aternity that are not yet utilized at BCG. Represent BCG in requesting priority feature enhancements from Aternity and providing feedback on a wide range of features and functionality.
- Facilitate training opportunities for Aternity users at BCG. Some trainings will be self-developed while others will be delivered by outside partners. This will include a wide range of skillsets from beginner orientations to in-depth, advanced training.
- Help to drive out the most prevalent issues facing BCG users through reporting, alerting, and automation.
- Develop, document, and communicate standards and best practices for using Aternity at BCG. These important messages will be delivered through email, Slack messaging, and live video calls.
- Additional Aternity management tasks, including managing Aternity access, monitoring licenses, modifying shared dashboards, testing back-end (SaaS) upgrades, driving agent upgrades, and more.
In addition to the Aternity-related functions above, you will also work with other IT Architects, Engineers, and Analysts on the WHDM Team for various priorities related to BCG's fleet of Windows laptops and the other systems used to manage them.
