The Global Delivery internship in Global IT is a paid year-round internship.
Interns are expected to work part time, 15-20 hours a week, during the school year, and full time, 40 hours a week, during summer and winter breaks. This position can be fully remote or hybrid (combination of in-office and remote).
What you'll do:
- Explore career opportunities by working on a variety of projects in Global IT, and receive an inside look at your potential desired career path by learning how work systems and processes support our business.
- Analyze business requirement documents and work closely with Business Analysts and the IT development team in reviewing and clarifying functional and non-functional aspects of the software tool to create test plans.
- Write test cases and develop test data that will ensure comprehensive software test coverage
- Find, reproduce, and document issues for an Agile team in a clear and thorough manner.
- Verify defect fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues
- Collaborate with Global IT and Business Partners; providing hand-on experience given ownership of project deliverables, while assisting in everyday tasks.
- Ownership of creating and maintaining documents for the Global Delivery Team.
- Begins to understand the basic needs and requirements of the internal/external customer.
- Work on additional projects and other miscellaneous assignments as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Information Technology with at least 3 semesters remaining in school. If enrolled in an Associate's degree program must have a plan to pursue a bachelor's degree immediately after associates is completed.
- Ability to work independently on designated tasks as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze information and display strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
- The work hours are flexible based on your class schedule, working approximately 15-20 hours during the school year and 40 hours during summer/winter breaks. This position can start during spring semester.
- Must have reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed)
