The Role

Responsible for identifying work efficiencies to improve company processes, designing the structure of enterprise level IT systems, overseeing the project implementation, and measuring the performance of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Technology key stakeholders to determine the company’s current and strategic needs.
• Determining whether the current systems can be upgraded or if new system needs to be installed.
• Providing the company with design ideas and schematics.
• Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS cloud technical experience is essential.
• Project managing the design and implementation of the system.
• Meeting with the software developers to discuss the system software needs.
• Troubleshooting systems issues as they arise.
• Overseeing all the moving parts of system integration.
• Measuring the performance of upgraded or newly installed system.
• Training staff on system procedures.
• Providing the key stakeholders with post-installation feedback.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.
• Previous work experience or 5-7 years as a hands-on technical architect is required.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure, networking modules, and software integration.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
• Previous Fortinet experience – desirable.
• Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, and Office software.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications.
• Ability to problem solve complex IT issues.

Compensation

The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $148,000.00/yr. to $152,000.00/yr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
