Overview:In coordination with the Global Safety & Security Team, the Global Protective Intelligence Specialist will assist in driving the protective intelligence program as well as and supporting the travel risk management program for Gallagher globally. The individual will be detail oriented with, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment and make decisions during exigent circumstances. This is a remote position. This position may involve occasional domestic and/or international travel.
How you'll make an impact:- Monitor global threats relevant to Gallagher’s operations in order to create actionable intelligence products to support GSS as well as other teams.
- Assist with the global threat management program, including all aspects of the threat management program and its policies are being followed in the regions, and all threats are documented and actioned.
- Assist in driving the protective intelligence program global strategy and implementation plan, including the evaluation and onboarding of intelligence and risk management vendors.
- Drive and create intelligence products to support Corporate Security and other teams in a predictive and proactive manner.
- Train and manage a team of analysts across different shifts.
- Partner with the Global travel internal stakeholders on threat management, travel security, and protective intelligence purposes with the goal of supporting the safety and security of Gallagher people, assets, and reputation.
- Support event security with location specific intelligence before and during corporate events.
- Experience using real-time alerting systems to support the collection of intelligence gathering and dissemination.
- Experience working with human resources, employee resources, employment legal, and other corporate security-related programs is essential to success in this position.
- Assist with policy development & administration, including compliance and audit activities and quality control and assurance of related incident data within Security's Threat Incident Management Environment and the Case Management Tool.
- Conduct research before high risk travel and conducting necessary travel intelligence briefings for staff.
- Collaborate together with the Global Governance Committee in the identification, alignment, and prioritization of current and future program requirements and solutions such as alignment to ISO 31030.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional relationships to accomplish program objectives.
- Experience handling organizational sensitive materials, systems, and information.
- Demonstrated experience leading and supporting programs and working with diverse teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with both business leaders and cross-functional partners, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and training in related fields required + minimum of 5 years' experience in the field Corporate Safety and Security.
- Ability to be on call 24/7 basis as part of a response team for any related emergencies.
- Knowledge of life safety systems, electronic security, video and digital recording systems.
Highly Preferred:
- Minimum of four (4) years of corporate security experience and two ( 2) years of work experience in travel risk management and protective intelligence.
- Intelligence collection and analysis, Travel Risk Management experience, e.g., policy, risk assessments, emergency response planning and execution, such as coordinating evacuations or providing medical assistance, travel, event security intelligence, or transport security.
- Strong writing skills
Desired
- Certified Travel Security Professional (CTSP) through International Security Management Association (ISMA)
- Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
