Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX; 3 days in office mandatory
Duration: 6 month contract initially

We have a 48 hour SLA
We do most of the quoting for them
We are the SMEs of quoting tool, reps send us an email via our email alias and we create the quotes, opportunities, help with IT issues, it is very important that attention to detail is there
Critical thinking, able to be coached and trained
This is a new system for us, so we work with IT a lot daily
Anyone can be trained on this job however the critical thinking has to come into play and understand the products we are quoting and how they have to be quoted in the system
They do have a Slack channel they can get help from too.
Fast paced environment and very important role for the company.
Description:
Global Sales Support Specialist (GSS) Finance The Global Sales Support Specialist resides within the Finance organization and fulfills a variety of key support functions to help ensure revenue attainment
This role will report to the Global Sales Support Manager
Profile: 5 years of related experience sales support, or sales operations environment preferred Excellent written and verbal skills & ability to communicate with customers, distributors & resellers Proficiency with Google products & experience in CRM system preferred (Salesforce CPQ and Steelbrick highly preferred) Organized with demonstrated initiative - must be able to independently handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to ensure timelines are met Willingness to work extended hours depending on month-end or quarter-end workload
Alternate shifts required to accommodate global requests.
Responsibility:
Global Sales Support The Global Sales Support Specialists support our Field Sales Team with quoting of complex deals, educating on one-off quotes to order inquiries, and advising on product configuration rules
They also s upport short term marketing sales promotions, and work with internal business partners to guarantee deals are moving forward
This team also will facilitate training with the Field Sales Team on Quote to Order processes and procedures guidelines, new hire training including SFDC beginners and advanced quoting sessions, and will be able to identify system gaps or improvement opportunities and escalate to proper resources for resolution
Each GSS team member works out of a shared mailbox and is responsible for managing Global Sales Support activities with accuracy and speed
Requests for assistance from an Account Manager are prioritized for completion based on revenue acquisition, customer relationship building and other forms of determining timing requirements
Additional responsibilities as may be assigned, as needed.
