Global Sourcing Coordinator - Big Lots

Assists the Global Sourcing Manager to identify, evaluate and approve suppliers.  Provides support in supplier interaction and rationalization of the supplier matrix.  Provides administrative support to include updating and maintaining Global Sourcing systems, tools and reports.

1. Locates, gathers and researches information.

2. Prepares various presentations, reports, queries and other documents.

3. Participates in Sourcing, Agent and Supplier meetings.

4. Understands and supports the objectives of the Global Sourcing Manager.

5. Assists with data analysis and document preparation.

6. Collaborates with and assists peers in providing administrative support including coordinating calendar for management and associates.

7. Fields calls, emails and inquiries from agents and operations.

8. Creates, maintains and analyzes documents and new supplier profiles, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

9. Updates and maintains Global Sourcing systems, tools, and reports.

10. Serves as liaison between Sourcing, Buyer, and Supplier to research and resolve issues. 

11. Performs competitive shopping and analysis as needed.
