Req ID: 123261 Remote Position: Yes Region: Americas Country: USA **General Overview** **Functional Area:** SCM - Supply Chain Management **Career Stream:** SCM - Supply Chain Management **Role:** Manager 3 **Job Title:** Supply Chain Manager 3 **Job Code:** MG3-SCM **Band:** Level 11 **Direct/Indirect Indicator:** Indirect **Summary** We are currently seeking a **Sr Supply Chain Manager** to join our global team to lead our strategic sourcing, supplier selection & development, commodity engineering, component engineering and materials cost-reduction initiatives in support of our Connectivity and Cloud Solutions (CCS) segment. The successful candidate will have significant experience in both customer management, and design for supply chain initiatives. The incumbent will lead the efforts of multiple support organizations, globally, to ensure a successful engagement with Celestica's product design customers. **Detailed Description** + Maintains responsibility for a set of projects developed by Celestica's Global Design Services organization. + Provides direction for source selection and ensures proper process implementation. + Collaborate with Commodity Management function to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth plans. + Leads the supply chain management process for customers from materials pricing and BOM analysis to delivery execution and flexibility performance. + Provides leadership in the analysis of costed customer bids or quarterly BOM Costing exercises for global customers. + Works with Global Design team to optimize Design for supply chain performance of Celestica products. + Provides direction to Commodity Management teams on contract negotiations. + Supports quarterly business reviews with customers, and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers. + Provides leadership and direction with respect to interaction with suppliers. Leads process development and development of commodity strategies. + Has regular communication with the customers related to, demand, commitments, non-performing inventory and future process changes /improvements. + Provides direct and indirect supervision to all supporting managers and employees performing highly specialized roles in several major functions or departments. + Accountable for projects or programs on a multi-national or global basis. Has overall P&L responsibility for site operations or operational accountability for global business units. + Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Has overall responsibility for planning, budgeting, implementing and maintaining costs, methods and employees in a functional area. + Makes final decisions on administrative and operational matters in area of responsibility to ensure achievement of objectives. Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. **Knowledge/Skills/Competencies** + Bachelor's degree in related field (Business or Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience with 12+ years of relevant experience + Extensive knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes. + In-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain management and inventory management. + Ability to understand the complete supply chain and resolve issues. + Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills + Strong communication and presentation skills + Able to resolve complex issues & problems internally and externally + Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management + Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of managers and employees. + Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers. + Able to work effectively cross- functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives. + Regular travel will be required (20%) **Physical Demands** + Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. + Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. + Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. + Occasional overnight travel is required. **Typical Experience** + Nine plus years of relevant experience **Typical Education** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Engineering or related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Educational requirements may vary by geography. **Salary Range** _The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate._ _Salary Range: $116-182k Annually_ **Notes** This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
