Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Golf Car Technical Advisor to join our Yamaha Golf Car team in Kennesaw, GA. The Technical Advisor serves dealers, distributors, customers, and internal staff by providing technical support for Yamaha Golf Car products via online and by phone.

What you'll be doing:
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint. Determines cause of the problem and selects and provides the best solution to solve the problem. Expedites correction or adjustment and follows up to ensure resolution.
- Provide dealer technical diagnostic support via phone, email or dealer portal for all Golf Car product and diagnostic tools.
- Interfaces with other Yamaha personnel in service, parts, sales or other divisions as needed to obtain the information necessary to make objective equitable decisions.
- Evaluates customer or dealer requests for assistance on Yamaha products and determines the type and amount of assistance to be provided by YMUS.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Support the factory with continuous information regarding any product complaints in the form of market reports, including technical diagrams, failed parts and customer feedback.
- Review and accurately adjudicate warranty authorizations and goodwill claims.
- Assist Customer Relations and Dealer support teams with technical advice as needed.
- Carry out various administrative tasks or special assignments within the department as needed.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Golf Car, powersports, or automotive technician.
- Formal technical training in Golf Car, powersports or automotive preferred.
- Proficiency or working experience in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word and Power Point).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong written and oral skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Travel required up to 25%
