The resort boasts 36 holes of championship golf on two iconic courses: The Brute and The Highlands. The Brute is a challenging 7,000-yard par-72 layout, featuring 68 bunkers and massive, undulating greens, making it one of the Midwest’s top golf experiences. The Highlands, a scenic gem originally designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus and redesigned by Bob Cupp, offers a stunning landscape of rolling hills and creeks. With four sets of tees, both courses cater to golfers of all skill levels, providing a dynamic environment for a golf professional passionate about delivering top-tier guest experiences.

About the Opportunity:

Our golf internship programs last 3 or 6 months and give the intern exposure to all aspects of a golf operation at a busy resort property. Each will experience the inner workings of the Golf Operations Department including but not limited to outside operations, merchandising, point of sale and tee times, tournament execution, junior golf and much more.

What we are looking for:

·       Someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences through the game of golf.

·       Someone who is eager to learn all facets of the golf business from teaching, tournament coordinating, golf car fleet management, retail management etc.

·       Professional Golf Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

·       One year of customer service experience in the golf or hospitality industry preferred.

·       Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

·       Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.

·       Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.

Salary Estimate: Hourly Wage - $14.00/Hour + Gratuities, Golf Instruction at 80%
