Job DescriptionAs an Government Relations Manager on the Americas Government Relations team reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Legal, you will make a positive impact by:
- Developing and executing federal trade association strategy and positioning.
- Developing and executing federal and state policy strategy and communications.
- Advancing Vusion’s federal and state government relations and advocacy agenda, including legislative and regulatory summaries and strategic responses, messages, and creation of educational content to increase engagement.
- Coordinating site visits and meetings with key regulatory stakeholders.
- Leading and updating Senior Leadership Team on government relations projects, and updating policy and advocacy materials.
Qualifications we’re looking for.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience, including federal legislative, regulatory/agency, trade association, corporate, or campaign experience focusing on issues relevant to technology and/or retail.
- Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure;
- Ability to take on new responsibilities as needed by the company;
- Strong natural leader with high integrity and team-focused mentality;
- Excellent written and verbal communication with experience talking to internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Experience in creating and updating project management documents;
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university;
