GPS Construction Surveyor - R-2 Contractors

R-2 Contractors is currently seeking a motivated GPS Surveyor to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued success with a company that values integrity and professionalism.

The list of primary responsibilities includes, but is not limited to the following:

· Understand GPS projections and survey units used in different states

· Establish control networks for construction sites/localize to existing control

· Verification of provided project data such as existing elevations and location of key infrastructure

· Prepares digital terrain models and linework files for use on construction sites

· Construction layout of site utilities and grading

· Collect As-built data of installed infrastructure and grading

· Prepares as-built drawings

· Volume verification

· Training team members in the use of GPS

Requirements:

Proficiency in:

o Topcon GPS receivers, data collectors, field software

o Topcon Magnet, Pocket3D

o AutoCAD

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
