About the Job
POSITION DESCRIPTION: As Grant/Data Assistant, this 16-hour per week position will be responsible for performing a variety of complex financial, technical and support services involving managing stipends and budget, managing documents and deadlines, event and project coordination, assisting staff with student recruitment, and other related duties. Additionally, data assistant will assist on survey design and development, spreadsheet management, creation of a database, and accreditation documents. This position is fully remote and will work closely with our full-time Program Analyst and grant Project Directors.
Responsibilities:Grant Analyst ● Manages systems for data collection, reporting criteria and grant records ● Research and compile data for grants/projects and self-study reports ● Monitors grant/project timelines ● Creates, monitors and maintains audit files for program compliance ● Designs and implements procedures to fulfill grant/project objectives and criteria ● Train, coordinate, and review work of project staff ● Prepares progress reports including basic statistical summaries and comparisons ● Assists in grant submission under supervision of the Program Analyst and Program Director. Budget/Financial Management of Grant Funds ● Assists in the maintenance of grant budgets ● Assists in monitoring revenue and expenditures for grants/projects ● Makes projections regarding expenditure patterns ● Makes requests for reimbursement and purchases as instructed |
Accreditation/Data Analysis
- Prepares reports including basic statistical summaries and comparisons
- Develops and administers survey instruments, forms, and questionnaires for continuous quality improvement and evaluation
- Creation of database and dashboard for monitoring programmatic success and benchmarks.
